Brief info

Ruel "Rula" Brown, attended Excelsior High School in Kingston, Jamaica and subsequently immigrated to the USA. He graduated high honors (Tau Alpha Pi) with a BSc. and MSc. in Mechanical Engineering from Wentworth Institute Of Technology (WIT) and New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) respectively. He worked at Bell Labs/AT&T/Lucent Technologies as a computer hardware design engineer.

Rula is the Founder/Exec. Director of PALAS. He is also the CEO of Qualitex Designs and Bee Cat Records. Rula is the host of the popular Internet radio show "Peace and Love Vibration Show" (PALVS) which is simulcasted on twenty (20) radio/TV networks and broadcasting five days per week.

In 1999-2005, Rula awarded twenty-five (25) scholarships (GRANNY-Icy Academic Scholarship) valued JA$6.5 million on his own to students residing in the Long Mountain Community of East Kingston, Jamaica to memorialize his late mother and grandmother. Rula volunteers each Christmas and Thanksgiving day at the Hosea Feed The Hunger for the past ten (10) years in Atlanta, Georgia to assist in feeding thousands of hungry/homeless individuals.
